Manchester City v RB Leipzig

A tricky first-leg tie for Pep Guardiola’s side leaves the tie in the balance as they welcome RB Leipzig to Manchester. Expectations will be high for the home side to win on the night (1.34), but don’t underestimate the away side despite being the underdog (9.09), if the first leg is anything to go by. The German side showed all the potential to stifle the current Premier League champions.

All eyes will be on Erling Haaland to score (1.41), but former Chelsea striker Timo Werner is firing again with 13 goals this season, and is another to watch out for at 5.00. With a hard fought 1-0 win at the weekend against Crystal Palace, Man City will once again be pushed all the way in this one. If you fancy extra-time and a nail biter for Pep and co, a draw in normal time at 5.02 is an inviting price for any punter.

FC Porto v Inter Milan

The second of Tuesday’s Champions League matches sees Inter Milan take a slender one goal lead to Portugal. Romelu Lukaku scored the only goal off the bench the last time the two sides met, but Inter have been inconsistent since, and the hosts could take advantage of this.

Having scored six goals in their last two games, Porto are slender home underdogs at 2.72, with the away side priced at 2.68.  Mehdi Taremi has 22 goals to his name this season, including five in six Champions League appearances – and is 2.73 to score anytime inside 90 minutes.

Real Madrid v Liverpool

Champions League ties don’t get much bigger than the 2022 Champions League final match-up, however, after the first leg, this one could already be over. Despite conceding twice in the opening 15 minutes in the first leg, Real Madrid decimated their Premier League opponents with five goals from Vinícius Junior, Karim Benzema and Éder Militão leaving the Anfield faithful stunned.

The Reds are 17.00 to win by 3 goals and force extra time – a tall ask for any team and 2.8 to win on the night, with Madrid favoured at 2.31 at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium. Liverpool will look to replicate the performance in their 7-0 win over arch rivals Manchester United, but a 1-0 defeat to Bournemouth last weekend won’t ease concerns about their consistency under Jurgen Klopp this season.

Los Blancos still trail Barcelona by 10 points at the top of La Liga following a 3-1 win on Saturday – and will look to continue their momentum having beat Liverpool in five of their last six Champions League meetings. Goals are likely when these two meet, so both teams to score in the first half could be the value play at 3.29.

Napoli v Eintracht Frankfurt

Top of Serie A and a two goal cushion after the first leg, all signs point to Napoli progressing in this one on Wednesday. The Italian side have captivated football fans around the world this season, led by the goalscoring prowess of Victor Osimhen and the technical genius of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.

With an 18 point lead at the top of Serie A, there’s no reason for Luciano Spalletti’s side to ease off – and they could make a statement at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona. They’re nicely priced at 3.54 on a -2 Asian Handicap having won the away leg by two goals. Frankfurt have only one win in their last six games, conceding 10 goals in the process.

At 2.18, Napoli to score in both halves of the game highlights the gap between these two sides, with silky football from the Italian side guaranteed.
