Betting on the X Games? Learn more about some of the outstanding athletes!

For the first time, the X Games will be held at ZOZO Marine Stadium in Chiba City, Japan. They’ll take place during the summer and feature the sporting favourites such as Skateboard, BMX, and Moto X competitions.

The X Games will commence on April 22-24, 2022. I’m sure novice fans are stoked for the return of this adrenaline-fueled sport.

X Games has successfully hosted action sports events in 12 nations around the world for over 25 years, attracting over six million spectators. The X Games have become the top action sports competition and lifestyle brand since their debut in 1995, showcasing the world’s greatest action sports competitors in BMX, Skateboarding, and Moto X at the X Games.

More than 100 outstanding athletes are set to compete in the X Games this April. Here is an overview of a pick of the top athletes competing;

Skateboarding

Sky Brown: Women’s Skateboard Park

Sky became the world’s youngest professional skateboarder when she turned pro at the age of ten.

In her X Games debut in 2019, she finished fourth, but she made history by landing the first frontside 540. Which is extremely impressive! Sky won her first X Games gold medal in Skateboard Park just nine days after her 13th birthday. She was also the youngest Olympian ever to represent Great Britain at the 2020 Tokyo Summer Olympics, where she won a bronze medal.

Leticia Bufoni: Women’s Skateboard Street

Leticia is one of the most influential skateboarders, with over 4.3 million Instagram followers. Not only was Leticia the first female skater to sign for Nike SB in 2015, she also won six X Games gold medals, 3 silver and 3 bronze, along with the 2015 Street League Skateboarding (SLS) Super Crown World Championships title.

In 2017, Leticia became the first female skateboarder to compete at the Red Bull Hart Lines competition. There’s no doubt she has had an amazing career and I can’t wait to see her performance at Chiba.

Pedro Barros; Men’s Skateboard Park

Pedro earned medals in his first nine X Games Park starts – six gold and three silver. His podium streak finally was snapped when he finished 4th at X Games Minneapolis 2018, but he looks to start another one at Chiba. He also won the inaugural Men’s Skateboard Park silver medal at the 2020 Tokyo Summer Olympics.

BMX

Kyle Baldock; BMX Park

Kyle is a BMX Dirt and Freestyle rider from Australia’s Gold Coast. He remains a podium threat at every park event around the world. Kyle has three gold medals in a row in the X Games Dirt, and he has ten medals in total, six of which are gold. When he is not travelling, Kyle conducts clinics at his local park for beginners and up and coming riders who want to pursue their dreams of becoming BMX pros.

As a dual-threat, Kyle will be at every major park and dirt event around the world, ready to prove that he is truly one of the best contest riders in the world.

He’s an extremely talented rider and I’m excited to see what he will bring to the Games in April!

Courage Adams; BMX Street

Spain’s Courage Adams is regarded as one of the best and most competent BMX Street riders in the world. The rookie will be the first Nigerian ever to compete at X Games.

Courage Adams started riding at the age of 12. He soon became a pro rider by the age of 16 when he took second position at the 2012 O’Marisquiño contest in Vigo, Spain.

Since 2012, he has had a handful of 1st place wins in competitions however he is yet to win a medal at the X Games. Is Adams going to bag his first medal in April?

Moto X

Tyler Bereman

Tyler started riding motocross bikes when he was only 10 years old. He is known for his heart-stopping performances around the world, and his ability to bend a dirt bike in the air.

He’s won prestigious Best Whip contests, a handful of X Games medals and has landed many prominent video parts. Tyler recently achieved a pair of bronze medals at the 2021 X Games and his ultimate goal is to combine his imagination with his love for riding.

He’s even broken into the stunt performance industry, having appeared in an episode of Fox’s Lethal Weapon TV series in which he rode a motorcycle into a casino through a plate glass window across a row of card tables and stole $1,000,000 in cash. His character’s day may have ended in a gun battle on a beach, but Bereman used the experience to launch a new career in stunt work, and he already has his SAG card.
