The most popular and well-known format of poker in the world right now comes to Maverick Games. Texas Hold’em can be played in no-limit, pot-limit and limit. Maverick Poker will only be offering no-limit Hold’em unless our players desire other formats.
No-limit is the purest format and most played worldwide. In no-limit the minimum bet that a player can make will be the same size as the big blind, this goes for cash games and tournaments. The maximum bet will be the total amount of chips or money that a player has.
For example:
You are playing a $1/$2 cash game, the small blind will always post $1 unless they have just lost money in the game and have less than this amount they will be “ALL IN”. The big blind will always be $2 again, unless the player doesn’t have $2 to post. The minimum raise for other players at the table will be $4 as that is double the amount of the big blind. If there is a player with $200 they will be able to just open bet to that amount as it’s no-limit and they will be all in. It’s important to know that there is no cap to the amount of raises allowed.
In cash games, Maverick Poker will take a very small % of the pot which is known as ‘Rake’. Maverick Poker strives to be the most competitive in the industry.

It’s the same logic in no-limit Hold’em tournaments, but all players will have a number of chips instead of cash. In tournaments, unless otherwise stated, all players will receive the same amount of chips when starting.
